There are many different forms of Lomi Lomi, each originating from different Hawaiian
Ohanas (families). Until recently, Lomi Lomi was only passed down from one generation of a
family to the next.
Lomi Lomi is a beautiful and sensual form of massage that integrates areas of your body that
were once disconnected. Lomi Lomi is also a spiritual practice. It reaches into the center of
your being and stimulates your life force, letting it flow through your entire body.
Receiving a Lomi session is like being loved and nurtured in way that, for some people, hasn't
been felt since early childhood, if at all.
Foot Reflexology is a very effective and enjoyable technique that dates back to ancient Egyptian
times.
Reflexology is a form of pressure treatment that involves applying focused pressure to certain
known "reflex" points located in the foot, which correspond to certain other areas of the body.
This treatment results in increased circulation, relaxation, and release of tension throughout
your body. We incorporate some Reflexology techniques as part of all of our massages, as it
increases the effectiveness of the other modalities we use to create a massage tailored
exclusively to your needs..
Deep Tissue massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.
It releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger or
forearm pressure on tight muscles, either following or going across the fiber's of the muscles,
tendons and fascia.
Deep tissue massage is used to release chronic muscle tension through slower strokes and more
direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles not with the grain. It
helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue formed from chronic muscle tightness. This
technique focuses on specific areas and may cause a bit of soreness during or right after the
massage. However, you should feel better than ever within a day or two.
It feels good and it is beneficial to your health. When muscles are stressed, they contract and
block oxygen and nutrients, leading to inflammation that builds up toxins in the tissue. A deep
tissue massage loosens and relaxes muscle tissues, releases toxins from muscles and causes the
blood and oxygen to circulate properly. Because many toxins are released, it's important to
drink plenty of water after a deep-tissue session to help flush those toxins from the body.
Uses a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax your muscles and melt away tension
by applying the correct pressure, and using gliding strokes in the same direction as the flow of
blood returning to the heart.
The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins
from the muscles.
Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic
acid and other toxins. It increases circulation without increasing heart load, and stretches the
ligaments and tendons, keeping them supple and pliable.
Swedish Massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves. It
reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested as a regular program for stress
management.
This modality is as soothing and relaxing as Swedish or Lomi-Lomi massage. Using light touch,
and soothing lotion with Aloe to add moisture and nutrients to your skin, this might be just what
you need after a day on the beach.
Combining soft, gentle touch with very light Shiatsu pressure point treatment, this massage is
guaranteed to relax you.
Did you get just a little sunburned? If you’re your skin says to you “Maybe I shouldn't get a
massage just now,” and you’re answering back, “But I sure could use one!” this massage is for
you.
